Yes! All of our course formats are taught as Accelerated Courses by default. We assume you are going to arrive CURRENT and PROFICIENT in all aspects of VFR and IFR flying. If you are "rough around the edges", that usually isn't an issue. If you haven't flown an LPV or ILS approach in the last year or so, it might be advisable to get some practice in before you elect to do an accelerated course. With that said, if you need extra time, it is available on an hourly basis and we are glad to accomodate!
Depends highly on the experience you bring to the table.
For ACTIVE single engine IFR pilots, who are flying more complex singles (Arrows, Bonanzas, 182s, etc) you are usually ready for the practical test in 6-8 hours.
For ACTIVE AMEL pilots who fly or teach regularly in IFR, you are usually ready for the practical in 5-9 hours.
For ACTIVE CFIs and CFIIs, you are usually ready for the practical in 6-8 hours.
PVT/COM/ATP - If you are an active single engine pilot that regularly flies IFR operations, you will be ready to go!
MEI - If you are an active instructor, especially an active CFII, this will be a very exciting course!
FOR ALL STUDENTS - review ALL the material that is provided, multiple times. Come in "knowing" as much of the ground material as possible. It will vastly help cement the topics of multiengine flight!
Only bring what you would normally when attending flight training.
The most important thing to bring is a Positive Attitude!
You will earn a high performance and/or complex endorsement during your training.
All aircraft related expenses are included in our flat rate, including fuel!
No! All of our courseware will be emailed to you upon registration.
Our program is 100% dedicated to you. It is an immersive experience that focuses all of your efforts on ONE airframe and ONE instructor.
If you PREFER to train in pairs, that can be accomodated provided both candidates are in agreement. Contact us for further details!
